ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:
Erick Corona is PG&E’s Transmission and Substation Asset Strategy Manager. His main responsibilities are to understand the safety, reliability, and environmental risks posed by transmission and substation assets and define suitable equipment replacement policies and maintenance recommendations. A self-professed nerd, Erick considers analytics as the industry’s most powerful tool for the future. Prior to the electric sector, Erick spent eight years working on the design, integration, and testing of aircraft propulsion control systems. Erick holds a BS. in Mechanical-Electrical Engineering from ITESM (Mexico), a MS. in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Washington, and a SM. in Engineering Systems and MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Steve Ehrlich is SVP of Product Management and Marketing at Space-Time Insight, the leading provider of situational intelligence solutions for the Internet of Things. Steve has nearly 30 years of experience in the software industry. Before joining Space-Time Insight in 2011, Steve led marketing and product strategy for BUZ Interactive and Apptera, a speech applications provider. Prior to that, as Vice President of Marketing, Steve led speech recognition firm, Nuance, from startup to a successful initial public offering. Steve holds Bachelors and Honors degrees in Commerce from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa.
